Moment Capacity is a drama set in a small-town, which explores the universal struggle of empathy. CHRISTY, a despondent young woman, escapes a bad relationship and returns to her small-town home, hoping to find stability and a new beginning. But she discovers TOM, one of her dad’s war buddies, is in town for a visit. Her parents seem ill-equipped to deal with her depression – especially when they find out she’s pregnant. When she later suffers a miscarriage, she finds little solace in her parents’ clumsy attempts at empathy, but a small measure of hope in her connection with Tom.
